Moberly’s Depot Park Farmers Market will open for the 2019 season today from 3:30-7pm at their new location in Tannehill Park behind the Moberly Post Office. Come enjoy farm friends’ books, open mic night, and food trucks.

 

Moberly Library will host Pokémon adventures from 5-6:30pm for kids ages 6 and older.

 

 




FRIDAY 5-24-2019

 

Sullivan County Health Department will hold a blood sugar & blood pressure clinic from 8:30-9am. The office will close at Noon.

 

A veteran’s service officer will be in Moberly, next to the USDA Building on county road 1325, from 9am-4pm.

 

Grand River Multipurpose Center will have lunchtime entertainment with “The Leftovers” at 11am.

 

Moberly Library will host Bingo at 11am. Everyone is welcome!

 

Grand River Multipurpose Center will have dancing and karaoke with the ReWind Band at7pm.

In honor of Memorial Day, all branches of the Little Dixie Regional Libraries will be closed today through Monday. They will resume normal hours Tuesday.

 

Madison will hold town wide rummage sales today

 

The annual “Smokin in the Grove” backyard braggin rights barbeque contest will be held in Middle Grove from 8am-5pm. Admission is $7, ages 10 and under and veterans/military are free. Music will be provided, be sure to bring your lawn chairs.

 

The Community Kitchen in Moberly is open to serve meals to local residents in need from 10am-2pm at 411 West Reed Street in Moberly.

 

Randolph County Historical Society will be open today from 10am-1pm

 

The 82nd annual Novinger High School Alumni banquet will be held this evening at the Novinger High School gym. Social hour begins at 4:30pm and dinner at 6:30pm.

 

Children’s Miracle Power Pull takes place in Paris this evening beginning at 6pm.




SUNDAY 5-26-2019

 

 

The Magic City Line Mini Train will be open in Moberly’s Rothwell Park! The train runs every Sunday from 1-4pm and rides are $2.50 per person. Family Passes are available the Parks and Recreation office. Everyone and every age is welcome with special seating available for the elderly and disabled.

Memorial Day Services will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville beginning at 9am.

TUESDAY 5-28-2019

Livingston County Health Center will hold walk in office visits. They will have a board meeting at noon.

Macon County Health Department will have WIC voucher pickups and TB testing all day.

The Adair County Commission will meet today from 8:30am-4pm at the courthouse in Kirksville.

Sullivan County Health Department will host lactation classes taught by a breastfeeding peer counselor from 9am-1pm. Classes run every 30 minutes.
