A veteran’s service officer will also be at the Adair County Courthouse in Kirksville from 9am-3:30pm.

 

Macon County Historical Society will be open from 10am-2pm.

 

Sullivan County Health Department will have lactation classes taught by peer counselors from 10am-Noon.  Class times run every 30 minutes.

 

Brookfield Senior Center will serve lunch from 11:30-12:30.

 

The Marceline Rotary Club will meet at noon at Odd Fellows Lodge in Marceline.

 

The Moberly Rotary Club will meet at noon at the Lodge in Rothwell Park.  

 

Livingston County Women’s Democrat Club will hold a meeting at Royal Inn Pizza at noon.

 

Livingston County Library will have Wee Read Storytime for children ages 2-5 at 1:30pm.

 

In celebration of Game Week, Moberly Library will offer a family board game café for families with children ages 5 and up. Come sample some board games, new and old, for all experience levels from 4:30-6pm. All Games Week events are first come, first served.

 

Moberly Library will have family story time at 6:30pm for children and their families’ birth to 5 years old.

 




FRIDAY 11-8-2019

 

Sullivan County Health Department will have a blood sugar & blood pressure clinic from 8:30-9am.

 

A veteran’s service officer will be in Moberly, next to the USDA Building on county road 1325, from 9am-4pm.

 

Moberly Library will host BINGO at 11am. The event is free and everyone welcome.

 

The 42nd Annual Randolph County Family & Community Education Council Craft & Gift Show will be held today and tomorrow at the MACC Activity Center.  The show is open today from 11am-6pm and tomorrow from 9am-3pm. Admission is $2 for ages 13 and up.

 

Brookfield Senior Center will serve lunch from 11:30-12:30.

 

Livingston County Library will host family Disney trivia night from 6-8pm in the LCL Courtroom.

 

Grand River Multipurpose Center will host the Steve Fuller Dixie Union Band from 7-10pm.

 

Cowboy Christmas for Kids Dance will be held at the Moberly Moose Lodge from 7-11pm




SATURDAY 11-9-2019

 

Christmas on Main Street will be held in Paris beginning at 8am.

 

The 4th Annual Veterans Day Run- Avenue of Flags will be held in Centralia at 8am.


The 42nd Annual Randolph County Family & Community Education Council Craft & Gift Show will be held at the MACC Activity Center.  The show is open today from 9am-3pm. Admission is $2 for ages 13 and up.


The Community Kitchen in Moberly is open to serve meals to local residents in need from 10am-2pm at 411 West Reed Street in Moberly.

 

Randolph County Historical Society will be open today from 10am-1pm

 

Moberly Library continues their celebration of Games Week with Dungeons & Dragons & Pizza from 10am-2pm. If you have wanted to try D&D but wasn’t sure where to start, this beginner session is for you. No experience needed, just show up to have fun. Pizza is included! Open to middle and high school students. All Games Week events are first come first served.

 

Cowboy’s Christmas for Kids trail ride will begin at noon at the Lodge in Rothwell Park. Bring a new toy & non-perishable food item. Lunch will be provided by Papa Rocks, an auction will follow at 3pm.

 

Moberly Veterans Day Parade will be held in downtown Moberly at 1pm. A reception will follow at the VFW on South Morley in Moberly.

 

Trivia night will be held at the Walworth Community Center in Marceline at 7pm. Entry fee is $10 per team, with a maximum of 8 people. Pizza and drinks provided.

 

VFW Post 2508 in Kirksville will host a dance from 7-10pm. Admission is just $6, everyone is welcome.

 




SUNDAY 11-10-2019

Salisbury Knights of Columbus will host an all you can eat breakfast from 6:30-10:30am at their hall. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children.


Grand River Historical Society Museum in Chillicothe will feature a Veteran’s Day tribute program at 2pm. 

Moberly Area Council on the Arts will hold a Veterans Day Americana concert featuring the Missouri Symphony Conservatory at the Moberly High School Performing Arts Center at 4pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, students $3 and season ticket holders are free.

 

Grand River Multipurpose Center is looking for volunteers to help deliver meals, help in the dining room or kitchen, answer phones, greet at the front desk. You can volunteer during the lunch hour 5 days a week, once a week, twice a month or once a month!  For information contact Teresa Sykes at 660-646-1555.

The board is a service group that benefits the library and teen community by giving a voice to young adults and providing them with the ability to plan, promote, and implement library programs and events that meet their needs. MONDAY 11-11-2019

 

The Macon R-1 School District will hold a salute to veterans at the High School Gym at 8:35am.  Rolls and coffee will be served in the career center commons area beginning at 7:30am. Everyone is invited to attend.


Students from St. Pius School in Moberly will present a Veterans Day Celebration at 10am. All Veterans and other community members are invited to attend.


The Adair County Veterans Organizations will host a Veteran's Day ceremony at 11am at Rieger Armory in Kirksville.  Doors for the event will open at 10am and local Veterans Service Organizations will be available for informational meetings.  The public is welcome to attend.


VFW Post 1471 and American Legion Post 256 will hold a Veteran's Day Program at the Walsworth Community Center in Marceline beginning at 11am. Everyone is welcome to attend.
